Project Tote Bag

Make a tote bag large enough to carry rulers and supplies to any quilt class you are going to. Learn to create an entire applique from just one piece of Batik fabric. Learn to bind in small places...and learn to crosshatch quilt on your home sewing machine.

DATE: April 28th from 4:00pm - 6:00pm and April 29th from 4:00pm - 6:00pm

Bali Bowl Class

If you have been in the shop recently you may have seen the 3 Bali Bowls that we have. We use them for everything from holding Fat Quarters for display to a vase for our lilacs! You can be as creative as you want with this fun idea. These would make a great gift for that free spirited person in your life....or better yet...keep your own creation close to your sewing machine for scissors, tape measures, etc.

Saturday Retreat:  Piccadilly Quilt

Saturday retreat for quilters who want a night out. This is a small 39" x 49" beginning or easily put together quilt top. Would make a great baby quilt, lap throw, or wall hanging.

City View Quilt Class - taught by Sarah Yorgason

DATE:  Thursday, June 10, 2010 from 6:00pm - 8:00pm.

With its small size and easy piecing, this quilt is perfect for a beginning quilter. It may look like a lot of pieces to cut and assemble at first glance, but it's created using fun and simple strip piecing. It also has no corners to line up, so it is okay if your cuts aren't perfect! Finished size is about 40" X 57".

TWIRLING

You choose the size from a wall-hanging, throw, twin or queen. (One pack of 2 1/2" is enough for a Twin size with a few left over!) This is a quilt full of motion and fun to make. Taught by Sarah Yorgason.
